The legal world is undergoing dramatic change. The BBC's Law in Action programme, broadcast in early 2009, warned of the major shake-up ahead. The Legal Services Act 2007 is revolutionising the way legal services are provided in this country.

Can't Afford a Lawyer provide people with information about how they can find affordable help. A key part of that is providing details of organisations that offer affordable legal advice and representation. We are particularly looking for firms that offer fixed fee services or innovative ways of providing legal services.
